A certificate of authenticity is basically a professional sales receipt with digital registration, it is a document that is used as authentication of a work of art. To build your status as an artist, you must use them rigorously when selling your work. Certificates prove to buyers that the art you sell was created by you and maintain a transaction history.

When you buy artwork and receive this document, you can be sure that the art you just invested in is a certified original.

This is a must in order to sell in our gallery.

How our system works

Every physical artwork has a printed certificate with the information of the artwork, the artist and the current owner. Together with a QR code that opens the digital certificate.

This is complemented with a secret digital key that allows the transfer of the work to third parties when it is sold, thus having the new data of the buyer in the digital certificate and issuing a new verification form.

 

For physical artwork outside the U.S.

An additional certificate of authenticity issued by the art association of the country where the artist is located is required. This is in addition to the certificate we create.
